Up on Gaddaberget mountain you find both pine and spruce forest. In the north, the slope levels out towards three lakes, one of them, Bergträsket, is an excellent fishing water with a car park. Close to the two smaller lakes stand massive, tall pines draped with hanging lichen. Here you can also smell the characteristic scent of the wood living fungus Diamond Willow Fungus, which grows on older willows. The area is 4.5 square kilometres in size.
There is a car park north of the nature reserve, at Lake Bergträsket.
Gaddaberget mountain lies about 40 kilometres northwest of Arvidsjaur in the eastern part of Arvidsjaur Municipality. Take road 94 towards Älvsbyn northwards from Arvidsjaur. Turn off towards Njallejaur. Before Holmfors there is a logging road heading north that leads to the reserve.
