Description

The Tjäktja Pass is in an exposed location in a beautiful, barren setting at the highest point on the King’s Trail, 1,150 metres above sea level. The cabin is intended for temporary stopovers and has room for 10 people. In the cabin you find a stove, firewood and latrine. You may only spend the night and use any firewood in an emergency.

There is always room in the cabin for anyone needing a roof over their head. This can sometimes mean that anyone who has been indoors for a while must move.

The County Administrative Board does not collect refuse in the mountains, so remember to take along refuse and clean out after you. Remember to close the door properly when you leave the cabin.
