Description
Getting from Askeby to Linköping Cathedral is not easy at first. The first part of the trail runs on asphalt and busy road (80 km/h) from Askeby to Landerydskyrkan. Walk with great caution and please have a reflective vest with you.
If you'd rather find your way through the forest, there is an alternative route that goes partly on an old railway embankment. It is completely unmarked and can be difficult to find so keep an eye on the digital map.
Once you arrive in Landeryd, you continue on the footpath and can choose to go straight down towards Stångån or if you want to take the detour away towards Landeryd's church and get a stamp in your pilgrim's pass.
