We have renovated the visitor parking lot and entrance to the nature reserve. However, some parts of the road are still in bad condition, please drive carefully!

Description

The large Vattgruvsmossen bog is located in the middle of the reserve and is surrounded by swamp forests that are rich in bog myrtle and wild rosemary. There's a marked trail that takes you around the bog, and the Sörmlandsleden trail also runs through the reserve. Along the trail, there is a nice picnic area by Lake Stora Kobäcken.

In this reserve, you can find all three of Sweden's sundew species—carnivorous plants with sticky leaves that catch flies. The water-filled pits are old iron-ore mines, located in close proximity to the reserve.
