Description

This 2 km trail takes you across the island of Malmaön and into the reserve with its fascinating glacial potholes. The lookout point here is well worth a visit.

In 1916, the island became a military zone and was thereafter left untouched. Today, visitors to the island can experience a large and undisturbed natural area. The forest was selectively logged during 2019 in order to help restore the original character of the land with grazing cattle.

Park before the gate and walk the last bit. After a 100 m walk, there's a sign that says "Naturreservat 1 km". Follow the red markings on the trees.
