With public transport: The Järvavägen stop is taken by bus from Nynäshamn. From the stop it is about 1 km walk to the reserve limit.

By car: From Nynäsvägen, take off to Torö and follow the signage to the nature reserve.

To protect The Nature Reserve of Käringboda has rules you must follow.

In the reserve, it is prohibited to

1. destroy or damage solid natural objects or surface formation by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, painting or such Dig up flowers or intentionally damage the soil vegetation (grass, moss or lava) Deliberately disrupt the wildlife (e.g. by climbing the nest or from close distance photographing the bird’s nest, lya, pot or the like)
2. carrying a dog or other pets that are not linked
3. tent or set up caravan other than in the designated location
4. for longer than two days mooring or anchoring boats including houseboat other than in the designated location
5. to set up fire other than in the prescribed and designated places
6. in another disturbing way use radio, grammophone, tape recorder or similar
7. perform motor vehicles other than on the intended roads
8. ride other than on here intended paths, roads and areas park motor vehicles other than at the sites provided and prepared.
