STF Hellasgården Vandrarhem Stockholm

Hellasgården in the Nacka nature reserve just south of Stockholm has been a popular outdoor area for Stockholmers ever since the farm was established by the Hellas association in the 1940s. People come here all year round to take part in the many activities offered at Hellasgården. The proximity to central Stockholm, just 15 minutes by bus, makes the facility a favorite for city dwellers who want to get out in the nature, as well as for tourist families who want to keep Stockholm city at a close but safe distance. The bus stops directly in front of the facility.

You will stay in lakeside cottages with four beds per room. As an overnight guest, you have 24-hour access to a fully equipped kitchen (about 25 m from the cottages). Toilet and shower are in a separate building. A travel cot is available to use for travelers with small children.

The café and restaurant are right next to the cottages and the lake. We strive to use locally grown and KRAV labeled products as much as possible, and to continuously develop our range of raw foods and healthy products. Try our homemade smoothies, raw balls and chia pudding. The café also serves soup, sandwiches, sausages, coffee bread, ice cream, fruit and sweets. The restaurant offers a dish-of-the-day and a set menu. If you stay with us you can order breakfast, and larger groups are also welcome to pre-order lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday. Larger dinners and parties can also be arranged in the restaurant. Conference facilities are available at the premises. Please contact us for more information. Hellasgården works actively to protect the environment. We separate all our waste and strive to primarily use KRAV labeled products and environmentally friendly chemicals. Our towels and bed linen are washed by the Nordic Ecolabelled Märstatvätten. The shower and sauna system are rock heated, and we use only environmentally certified electricity (wind power).

Hellasgården is located on old cultural land, and its surroundings contain remains of stone paving, Iron Age tombs and beacons. Some of these settlements have information boards, a great start to a nature and cultural-historical walk.

Check-in is not possible once the reception is closed for the day, unless you have notified us well in advance, at least 24 hours before. For late check-in and early check-out, please call 070-787 58 53.

Gentlemen are welcome on even dates and ladies on odd dates during our opening hours. Feel free to ask the staff about the shower facilities on arrival.

Sauna, swimming, golf, beach volleyball, boules, fishing, football golf, gym, ice / cold bath, exercise track, mountain biking, orienteering, kayaking, ski tracks / ski rental, skate rental, tennis, hiking trails and yoga. Hellasgården is located in a nature reserve that is great for walking, hiking, skiing and running. The restaurant can be booked for parties and dinners.
