At Simbadets Camping at Österbybruk you can stay at the campsite or in a cabin. Bikes and rowing boats can be rented for exploring nature and the surroundings. You will also find places of both cultural and historic interest in the area.

This is first and foremost a campsite for the more mature crowd, people who want to find carefree relaxation for the weekend, maybe having a drink while enjoying the smell of barbeque in the air. Culture, history and the close proximity to amenities makes Österbybruk and the campsite a cherished place for many people.

You can also stay in a cabin. All cabins are situated close to water and the disability friendly service building is close by. Enjoying the sunset from the veranda is a favourite evening pastime.

Take the opportunity to discover the Walloon ironworks by bike - sturdy bikes can be rented at the campsite. If you enjoy fishing you can rent rowing boats and life vests. Fishing licenses for sale. In the great pond you may catch both pike and perch.

On the campsite there is a café and a kiosk serving light meals as well as a bathing spot with a 10 meter diving tower, bathing pontoons and a sandy beach for smaller kids. You will also find changing rooms, a court for beach volleyball and a barbeque spot.

When the weather is cold enough in winter, a 4.5 kilometer long track for ice skating and an adjacent ski track is kept open by plowing. Changing rooms will also be kept open.
