LOCATIONS FOR BOATS

A concrete ramp and a bridge are available at the fire station in Fegens society.

In autumn 2022, Fegens FVOF built a new concrete ramp at Sandvik's church. A jetty has been purchased and it will be in place in the spring of 2023. Feel free to go to our website and read about the construction under ABOUT US, or look at the slide show under PICTURES.

FEGEN'S NATURE RESERVE
In addition to general legislation, Fegen is covered by extended protection:

From 1 April to 31 July there is a disembarkation ban on many islands and places. These are marked with yellow signs and in some cases buoys in the water.
From April 1 to July 31, the speed on the lake is limited to 5 knots.
It is forbidden to make a fire or set up a tent, except in specially prepared places.

FISHERIES SUPERVISION
Our fisheries inspectors carry out random spot checks. During a check, you will be asked to show a valid fishing license and identification.

DEPTH MAP
Fegen is a tricky lake with many shallows and rocks just below the water's surface. "Fascinerande Fegen" has produced a depth map of the lake which is available for sale at Alvhaga Vildmark (tel 0346-61000) and the Fegenkiosken, and you can get it both plasticized and plasticized.
Fegen is regulated and is part of Ätran's water system. Note that the water level can vary with an amplitude of 1.75 meters, and the depth map is based on the water level of 132.65 m.a.s.l.
