Description

Getaryggarna nature reserve is an area with alot of slopes and steeps. The reserve consists mainly of coniferous forest, but some parts are more of the deciduous kind. Between the two main slopes is a waterfilled valley. East of the slopes is a marsh with amazing flora. The southern parts of the reserve is also worth a visit to see the great biodiversity.

Parking

Turn left along the small Getaryggsvägen (white sign) and follow it 200 meters to the turning point with parking opportunities.

From the south: the road to Brindyd to Kålsboda. Here you will depart along the Gummatorpsvägen (white sign). Follow this one kilometer and continue up a height east of the Raftabäcken. At the forested height there are reserve markings. On the left there is a small parking pocket for one or a few cars.

Directions

Follow the white signs from road 31 on a smaller road for about 4 km to reach the nature reserve.

Regulations

You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:

Injure natural objects or surface formation, for example by digging, drilling, painting or chiseling on rocks and blocks
break twigs, traps or otherwise damage live or dead trees and shrubs
3. pick, damage or dig up rice, herbs, fungi, mosses and lichens other than picking single copies. Carrier and food fungus may be picked for house needs
4. perform or park motor vehicles or trailers other than on the road and the parking lot
5. set up board, sign, poster, orientation control or to snittle tracks without permission from the trustee
6. conduct competition, exercise, camp operations or the like without permission from the trustee
7. interfere with or damage the wildlife, for example, through the proximity of behaviour at the place of residence or play.

Other legislation for what can be done in forests and land also applies in the nature reserve.
