Description

Ohs Church was built in 1929–33 according to drawings by the architect Birger Jonsson. The initiators were the Berglund family, owners of Ohs Works. The building is a hall church, with the nave with a gabled roof to the east and the steeple with a main entrance to the west. The vestry is built with steeples in the southern part of the church. The façades have beige smooth plaster and the roofs of the nave, steeple and vestry are covered with shingle. The architecture of the building has links to both medieval and Jewish stylistic elements.

Among the fixtures is an altarpiece with motifs from Jesus’ life, signed by Gunnar Torhamn, artist.
