Description

In the 1920s, the Falck-Persson sisters had the inn built to offer a place for recreation. The nature was so beautiful, and the location so peaceful! Above all, the baths in the lake were said to be very beneficial. Even today, this is a place where tranquility is easily found, while a wide range of nature and cultural experiences await just around the corner.

Smålandsgården is owned and operated today by the Lorentzon family with the ambition of running a sustainable and long-term business so that future generations can also enjoy this beautiful place. Here, a familiar, comfortable, and pleasant accommodation is offered where you as a guest can choose to stay in classic hotel rooms, cozy small cottages, or newly built apartments spread across different buildings. The restaurant serves well-cooked and rustic food with Småland characteristics and local ingredients.

The large grass areas, together with Lake Ören, create a fantastic environment for relaxation. Of course, you can swim all year round, in winter perhaps preceded by a pleasant moment in the hotel's sauna located down by the water.

At short distances, a multitude of experiences await, from hiking in stunning nature and historic sites to Gränna's cobblestone streets and candy canes. Take a day trip to the fairy tale island of Visingsö, visit museums in Gränna, Jönköping, and Huskvarna, or find your way to the region's many farm shops and charming country cafés.

Smålandsgården welcomes guests year-round. Welcome!
