Small and simple oasis on the coast of Småland

Are you looking for a smaller camping with a simpler standard? Then you are warmly welcome to First Camp Oknö – Mönsterås is located in the archipelago between Mönsterås and Öland, just by the water surrounded by small coves, forest trails and meadows. The campsite has a simpler standard but invites nearby natural surroundings. The camping plots where you set the camper or caravan are also beautifully located overlooking the sea. About 50 meters from the destination there is a simpler bathing area where you can swim and cool during the summer’s hot days.

Small and simple camping among cubes and cuts A good destination for those who prefer relaxation, peace and quiet. But there are also some activities for those who want to find some fun during the holidays. On the campsite you can rent canoe, fish and rent a bike or tramp car. Please note that fishing prohibition applies in the municipality of Mönsterå during the period 1/3-31/5. There is new bread in the store and in our new First Camp Bistrokan you enjoy fresh summer lunches and good dinners from the terrace.

Oknö is also known for its beautiful hiking trails, so for those who want to have over 8 kilometers of hiking trail to discover along the water. With us, you can rent a bike to bike into the centre of Mönsterå and the Water Palace, and by car you also have close to Kalmar for a day trip, exciting Klosterruins in Kronobäck and beautiful Pataholm.

Practical information

At First Camp, we actively work for a better environment and hope that you as a guest do this. At our waste stations we sort plastic, aluminum, glass, cardboard and newspapers. Instructions are available at each station.

KioskServicekiosken is open during the spring and summer season. It is gradually filled up in spring to offer its full range during the summer season.
