Description

Dragsåsen Ridge at the end of the Öjaby inlet is a great place for a walk. This nature reserve offers a view of lakes and islets teeming with birds. At least as exciting is the sharp Getryggen Ridge with its steep crown. All of these was created about 10,000 years ago when the inland glaciers melted and the flooding waters pulled along stone, gravel and clay. At the end of the ridge, there is a little island with a grilling area that offers a great ambience. The black-throated divers, the ospreys and common terns are often spotted. Walk carefully and quietly so as not to disturb the birds. For more information about the Dragsåsen Ridge nature reserve, see the website of the county administration. You can find the link below.
