Description

This nature reserve is at the seam between the city of Växjö and the domain of Lake Helgasjön’s black-throated divers. The old oaks in the area host rarities such as the Allecula morio insect and the cardinal click beetle. The European green woodpecker and the hawfinch also thrive amongst these giant trees. Near the ponds of the golf course, you’ll o find nesting common goldeneye and great bittern. In a smaller hayfield, you may also see hawk’s beard and bluebells. Explore the trails and enjoy nature at her finest. The total length of the trails in about 1.4 kilometres.
