Here you can enjoy a wonderful camping holiday and feel as though you’re in one of Astrid Lindgren’s magical stories. Lush greenery, splendid swimming and bathing, and a beautiful sandy beach. Bring a tent, stay in one of our cabins, or book a room at our hotel overlooking the lake – all in the midst of the Småland forest.

Sjöstugan is open all year round and is perfect for both family holidays and work trips to Älmhult. At Sjöstugan, we also offer a conference and event venue at our hotel for up to 70 people.

Looking for an active holiday? Sjöstugan offers a variety of activities! You can rent a canoe or boat, book our sauna boat, or play beach volleyball. Take the opportunity to visit the world’s only IKEA museum, or treat yourself to a peaceful day at Bökhult beach. Cool off with an ice cream, or buy freshly baked bread rolls for a picnic on the beach.
