Cycling along marked trails

Through Ljungby municipality, there are several signposted cycle routes where you can choose how you want to cycle.

Banvallsleden
Banvallsleden, a 250 km long, signposted cycle path from Halmstad, through Ljungby, to Karlshamn. Cycle along old railway embankments through open landscapes, past sparkling lakes, and into deep, magical forests. The route is mostly car-free and passes exciting historical station environments. Sverigeleden

Experience Sverigeleden through Ljungby municipality, a signposted cycle route that stretches through the whole of Sweden and passes all the landscapes except Gotland. Here, the route takes you on paved roads through beautiful cultural landscapes, past pastures, open fields, and into deep Småland forests. Take the bike over Lake Bolmen with the Bolmen ferry to Småland's largest island, Bolmsö. Cycle along one of Sweden's longest villages in Hörda, and discover several of Sagobygdens legend sites. Along the way, there are several cozy stops for food and overnight stays that enhance your cycling tour.

Hylteleden Along the 182 km long Hylteleden, you can enjoy peace and quiet. The route mostly follows small roads through living rural areas with grazing cows, red cottages, and sights. You cycle through varied landscapes – from coastal open landscapes to deep forests. Along the way, you pass villages and towns with food, accommodation, and services.

Lagadalsleden

Discover Lagadalsleden, a scenic, car-free cycle route that follows the old railway embankment for the Småland-Skåne railways between Värnamo and Bäck and further along small roads to Hamneda. The route winds along Lake Vidöstern and the beautiful Laganån river, through deep spruce forests, over exciting railway bridges, and past former station communities.
