Description

In Åkerby Nature Reserve there is a highly productive forest which makes the ground rich in herbaceous plants. In spring, the pink blooms of Mezereon appear and in early summer you can smell the strong fragrance of Lily of the valley. The plants take nutrition from the seeping water in the ground. The area is 0.7 square kilometres in size.
