Description

Björkberget is a fine example of a primary leafy forest that has grown following a forest fire. The most recent fire to ravage the area was about 200 years ago. In wetter areas there are primary trees that survived the fire. In the northern part there is an easily-hiked, dry pine forest with several clearwater tarns. The area is 2.6 square kilometres in size.
