Description

On the slope of Hänghuvudet, verdant spruce forest rises that contains truly massive spruce trees more than 30 m high. On the ground grow tall herbaceous plants such as Wood crane's-bill, Red Baneberry and the poisonous Mezereon, which produces its beautiful pink flowers on bare twigs in spring. In the most easterly part of the area, close to a logging road, there is an area with several ancient remains in the form of dwelling pits. The area is 1.3 square kilometres in size.
