Description

Virgin spruce forest with tall trees and rare species – they are some of the things you can experience in this reserve. Here you find old knotted pines that are 400 years old, which something unique in Sweden. Up on the summit of Björnberget there is a fine view of the surroundings. The reserve takes its name from the little small lake with surrounding mires which lies in the eastern part. The area is 1.6 square kilometres in size.
