A suitable route to the reserve is from the Kalix road southeast of the reserve. Via road 865 turn off towards the nature reserve, signposted Paulujärvi halfway between the Kalix river and Kääntöjärvi. Follow the road and keep left after about 7 kilometres, continue almost another 2 kilometres and then you have a large gravel area on the left way you can park the car.
