Description

The nature reserve Stubbá is part of Laponia World Heritage Site. Together with Muddus/Muttos and Sjauna/Sjávnja it forms the largest mire area in Sweden. Here you also find lakes, streams and virgin forest. Softly rounded low fells rise out of the flat mire areas. Mellanstubba and Niehtsagistjåhkkå are the highest, with a border of mountain birch forest below the bare summit. The area is 350 square kilometres in size.
