Description
Welcome to the nature experience Sankt Anna, a real gem in the Östergötland archipelago. In this beautiful place, Motala municipality has a leisure facility with activities, a large beach and fishing rights. The facility has been owned by Motala municipality since the municipality received the area as a gift in 1966, by the previous owner Föreningen Barnens Dag.
Nedre Gränsö is the name of the farm where the leisure facility is located. The farm houses common areas, kitchen, dining room, and three living rooms in the so-called Mangårdsbyggnaden which is from the 19th century. The facility is open from mid-May to September. Directions
Turn off the E 22 two km south of Söderköping to the left at the sign "Sankt Anna", Tyrislöt väg 210. Follow the signs to "Sankt Anna church", then you have about a mile left. Pass the Lagnö bridge, go three kilometers and there is a sign "Motala Kommuns sommarhem (Motala municipality summer home)" and then you have reached the goal.
The route Motala - Sankt Anna is about 140 km. In summer, Östgötatrafiken has a bus connection between Motala and the summer home, via Linköping, Norrköping and Söderköping. For information go to www.ostgotatrafiken.se or tel. 0771-21 10 10.
