Description
Tokanäset's beautiful beachwalk is lined with centuries-old pines with their branches stretched out over Lake Vättern. The path next to the water is patched by large stands of skavfräken (Equisetum hyemale), which have previously been used as abrasives. Here you will also find the unusual Dvärghäxörten (Circaea alpina) that blooms with small white flowers in July-August. In the bay, Black-throated Diver and Red-breasted Merganser are often seen. The Red-breasted Merganser with its sprawling hairstyle and gray-brown plumage gives a more disheveled impression than its big brother the Goosander.

Directions
From Riksväg 50 north of Nykyrka goes a public road down to Tokanäset, however, there is no parking so it is more suitable to go or ride here.
The general road and pass to a single path before coming out on the edge. You cannot drive out on the edge.
