Description

Häckeberga – Degebergahus is one of three areas within the Häckeberga Nature Conservation Area that has been made into a nature reserve. Old beech woodlands and ancient oaks grow here. Thanks to the old trees and the long continuity of the woodland, there are many rare and threatened species that depend on old trees.

If you walk section 15A of the Skåneleden Trail between Sturup and Dörröd, you will pass through the southern part of the Nature Reserve, where the oldest oaks are located. Just north of the oaks, there is an old beech woodland and a small wet woodland.
