Odensjön view point

The cliffs around the circular lake are up to 30 meters high and provide a beautiful view. You can follow the trail that goes from the parking lot and around the lake. The trail is said to be of medium difficulty and is about 2.5 km long.

The round shape has been the subject of much speculation. It has been said that it is an old volcanic crater or that a meteorite hit here, but today scientists believe that there was a glacier here that carved out the round basin. The lake was long thought to be bottomless, and is said to have been named for its resemblance to the evil eye of the Asgardian god Odin.
