Description
Backadal Farm is a small and personal bed & breakfast owned and operated by Palle and Anna Eriksson. Here, they have created comfortable accommodations where six newly built rooms are housed in what was once the farm's stable. Today, guests are greeted by tastefully decorated rooms with private bathrooms, while classic stable windows and original beams remind of its history.
With its rural location in the small village of Öja, the farm is surrounded by tranquility. It's the perfect place to enjoy a long breakfast and magical sunsets. The courtyard and garden offer comfortable seating for socializing and relaxation. After a good night's sleep, you wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread and then enjoy a well-prepared breakfast with local touches.
The picturesque and bustling Ystad is within a pleasant walking or biking distance. The city is one of Sweden's best-preserved medieval towns with fascinating history. With its pastel-colored half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, it's a small-town idyll with a rich selection of cozy and first-class restaurants, art galleries, and museums. Here, environments known from the Wallander movies await, as well as a fantastic coastline with extensive white sandy beaches, free horizon, and the Danish island of Bornholm in the distance. A short distance away, both the beautiful southern coast's many small villages and fishing hamlets as well as the entire range of experiences offered by Österlen await.
With its location, Backadal Farm is the perfect base for exploring this part of Skåne, whether you choose to fill your days with activities or enjoy peace and relaxation. Backadal Farm also welcomes dogs in some of the rooms.
