Description

The Fiskarudden nature reserve is a small headland by the Åland Sea, with old pastures and trees pruned using traditional pollarding methods.

This reserve is the perfect destination for the botanically inclined. During the spring and summer, one can see several different types of orchids and endangered species here, such as the elder-flowered orchid, common twayblade and spotted cat’s-ear. There are also some nice places to take a swim. Benches are placed throughout the reserve for rest and relaxation.
