Description
The Malmsjön nature reserve is made up of wetlands, swamps and surrounding coniferous forests. The area is home to many specially adapted plants that thrive on limestone soils, such as the beautiful lady's-slipper orchid. The calcareous fens are also rich in insects and snails. There is a trail that takes you through the reserve.

Directions
The Malmsjön nature reserve is located 5 km north-east of Roslags-Kulla, between Åkersberga and Norrtälje. There is a parking lot just west of the reserve.
By public transit: The closest bus stop is Gregersboda, about 1 km from the entrance and parking lot. For current information on public transit, see sl.se.
By car: The reserve is located next to Lagbodavägen road, between Route 276 and the Svensbodavägen road. The parking lot is a 1 km drive from Route 276. A path begins at the parking lot that takes you into the reserve.
Regulations
In order to protect the Malmsjön nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage permanent natural structures,
- pick or dig up flowering plants or damage groundcover,
- deliberately disturb wildlife,
- camp,
- make a fire.
