Description

In the Forest Storp Nature Reserve you will experience deep, dark, damp fairy tale forests and really old pine trees on pour. The area is rich in old trees, dead wood, fungi, lavas and mosses. Here you have great opportunities to see wild and maybe even giants. The forest is protected for its high natural values. There are several red-listed and unusual species, such as green shield moss, persistent moss, pine sticks, woolticka, yarn lava and catfoot slave. The species suggest that the forest has existed and had to develop for a long time. Skogstorp, together with the nearby reserves Stora Alsjön, Stora Envättern and Vattgruvsmosen, forms a comprehensive value core of protected forest areas.

So far, there are no devices for outdoor life in Foreststorp. Here you can experience real wilderness and discover the area on your own. Most of the terrain is easily wandered.

It is also part of the European network Natura 2000.
