Description
Slessberget towers above the surrounding landscape, offering stunning views of both Kålsöfjärden and Mörkö. Old coniferous forest covers the mountainous slopes. In early summer, wildflowers, such as lily of the valley and scented Solomon's seal, bloom here. Winding paths lead up the mountainside to the east. Here, you will find the remnants of a hillfort from the Middle Ages. Oak forests surround the mountain to the west and in the centre of the reserve, there is a small alder fen.
