Planning a visit to Sandemar nature reserve? Then here's some important information for you.
This year, starting July 15 at the earliest, the County Administrative Board is taking measures to prevent overgrowth of Sandemar's coastal meadows. Bushes and smaller trees will be cleared away and stumps removed by grinding.
The measures may seem drastic but are necessary for many animals and plant species to thrive. This may also cause some inconvenience to you as a visitor. Please be patient – with time, these measures will make plants, animals and people thrive!
Machines will operate within the orange coloured area on the map.
