Hargshamns Folkets Hus Association Camping

In Hargshamn, a village about 15 km from Östhammar, you will find this all year open camping near Hargshamns Folkets Hus. The camping is close to a playground, a grocery store, a restaurant and a beach.

Hargshamn is beautifully situated by Galtfjärden and consists mainly of older villas and a harbour that has been in use since the 17th century.

Folkets Hus is adjacent to the camping and the guests are free to use the showers, toilets and washing up facilities. There is also a communal freezer. Please observe that when the hall is rented out, only the toilet is available to campsite guests and there will be limited possibilities to shower and wash dishes.

Hargshamn has a marina, a bathing spot, a camp site and fishing opportunities. During early summer, when the Baltic herring can be caught, Hargshamn is very popular with recreational fishers.
