Parts of Stage 11 are covered. Where the joint divides from Gimodammslingan to continue westward towards Österbybruk, it went earlier on its way to the resting place at Sogarbo. Now it is surrounded so that it goes along the path.
Guide signs are still missing where the path splits. If you come from Gimoten, you will continue right along the way, where the joint splits, if you want to go Gimodammslingan. If you want to go to Österbybruk, turn left into a path.
Description
The section takes you through varied forests and across bogs between Gimo and Ӧsterbybruk. Along the way, you’ll see remains from the time of the iron mills. From the parking area, you’ll walk along a gravel country road, heading west. After 2.5 kilometres, you’ll turn onto a path, passing a clear-cut area. Once back in the forest, you’ll reach the ruins of the saw mill, and rest spot Sågarbo.
Crossing grounds rich in mushrooms and berries, and another clear-cut area, you’ll reach the wind shelter at the halfway point of the section. You’ll follow a log-driving channel through old peat harvesting ground Glamsmossen and the coniferous forest beyond, passing some great swimming and barbecuing spots. Where the trail splits shortly thereafter, turn left into Ӧsterbybruk and the old mill area. Ӧsterbybruk has a campsite, a shop, a café, restaurants, pizzerias, and accommodation at Wärdshuset.
Difficulty level: Medium, small, easy-to-walk forest paths, a few kilometres on a road.

You can park at the start, next to Gimo Manor. Parking is also available at the end of Österbybruk.
Communications
The stop closest to the start is Gimo mill street and is about 800 m from the start of the stage. When you get off the bus, follow Bruksgatan west towards the mansion.
Between Gimo and Österbybruk there is a good bus connection. In Österbybruk, the stage ends at the bus terminal.

Directions
The start is at Gimo Manor. From road 288 you turn off towards Gimo manor house and follow Bruksgatan up to Gimo dust. There is a smaller parking on the right side.
To get to the stage goal, drive to Österbybruk. Parking is next to the bus terminal in the middle of the community.
