Branäs Ski Resort

Värmland's largest ski resort with challenges for both beginners and experienced ski-enthusiasts.

Branäs mountain is the location of one of Sweden’s most up-to-date alpine centres. 34 pists with a variety of characteristics, from friendly family slopes to tougher black pists. A heigh difference of 415 meters and pists up to 2,5 km in length provide fantastic skiing, suitable for all skiers. Branäs is, in particular, the children’s ski centre. All children outdoor activities are included in the ski pass and all children under age 8 are skiing for free. Evening skiing to 7 PM, all days of the week. For the cross country skier there is a track system of 28 km, located on top of the mountain, of which 2,5 km is illuminated. The area offers many types of accommodation, all within skiing distance from the pists, regardless of your choice of a cosy cottage or a modern apartment. Branäs has for several years been awarded with Best children´s alpine centre.
