Åheden lies about 17 km southwest of Glommersträsk. The most suitable approach route to the reserve is from the east on road 365. Turn off westwards before you pass the Skellefte river, about 14 kilometres south of Järvträsk. After just under 2 km there is a crossing, where you turn west towards Stenbacken. After 5 kilometres you pass the county boundary back into Norrbotten, then continue about 500 metres. Leave the car and follow the little logging road southwards.

Åheden is located about 17 kilometers southwest of Glommersträsk and the most suitable access route to the reserve is from the east via road 365. Turn west before crossing the Skellefte River, about 14 kilometers south of Järvträsk. After almost two kilometers you will reach a crossroads, drive west towards Stenbacken. After 5 kilometers you cross the county border into Norrbotten again, continue about 500 meters. Leave the car and follow the small forest road south. The road was repaired a few years ago and is currently in good condition.

All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - hike - camp - make a small fire - pick berries and edible mushrooms - drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws

It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
