Kuvaus

The islands of Bockö and Mjöö lie outside the nature reserve of Eriksbergs stränder, and are popular with boat owners. The Eriksbergs stränder nature reserve runs outside Eriksberg wildlife park, and provides beautiful walks along the coast. The Allböle trail has glorious evening sun and views for miles. The Kohage trail includes beautiful beechwoods running right down to the water’s edge.

The rules for the nature reserve are shown in the link below, but, for example, dogs must be kept on a lead, and you are not allowed to light fires, or pitch a tent for more than 24 hours.

During the nesting period of 1 April – 15 July, you are not allowed to visit or approach within 50 metres of the island of Mjöö and its neighbouring skerries.

The nature reserve is located in the Hällaryd archipelago south of the Eriksberg peninsula and can only be reached by boat.

You are welcome to visit Bockön-Mjöön, but please note that it is not allowed to:

Disturb wildlife
bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet
make a fire other than in specially designated places
damage living or dead trees and shrubs or vegetation in general by digging up plants
enter Mjöön and its islands or travel or stay within an area closer to the shoreline than 50 meters during the period 1 April - 15 June
using a radio, tape recorder or similar in a disruptive manner
camping or mooring a boat for more than one day.
