Sandhamn harbour was built as a fishing harbour in the late 1950s in a well-sheltered spot in Sandhamnsviken, Torhamn, at the southernmost part of Sweden’s east coast in beautiful Blekinge. Today it is one of the biggest marinas in Karlskrona municipality, popular in the summer with boats from different countries.
There are three large quays, the innermost of which is for visitors while the two outermost are intended for fishing boats. The approach is easy and lit by lighthouses. Mooring is side-on and the marina provides access to diesel, electricity and fresh water. Marina services with toilets, showers and a laundrette. There’s a chandlery and the boatyard can handle any problems with your boat.
There is also a fully licensed restaurant, boats for hire and fishing charters, not to mention caravan pitches and, along the inner side of the quay, 10 fishing cottages with their own jetty.
Guest harbour, cottages, caravan pitches, restaurant, marine assistance and boatyard, chandlery, fishing charters, beach, bike hire – 10 cottages, 40 beds in total – Swedish and English – Open in the summer season, see website for current opening times
