Ny iläggningsbrygga i Jädraån
Nu finns en ny iläggningsbrygga vid Pallanite kraftverk i Jädraås som gör det enklare att paddla den vackra sträckan mellan Jädraåsdammen och Pallanite.
Boende
Welcome to our beautiful manor house built in 1856. We are located right by the Jädraån river and from the house there is a magnificent view of the water and the large forests. The estate has over the years been a private home to wealthy families. Today it is carefully renovated and offers comfortable accommodation with historical charm.
We offer personally decorated rooms with comrortable beds. Five of the seven rooms have their own shower and toilet, for the other two rooms there are two fresh shower and toilet rooms in close proximity.
In the guest kitchen you can make your own lunch, dinner or just have a cup of coffee and talk to other guests. The dining room and the veranda offers generous areas for relaxation. In the garden, which slopes down towards the Jädraån, there are both open spaces and leafy areas. Here you can rest, sunbathe, play and work out or swim, paddle, row and fish. We also have our very own bathing jetty.
Around Jädraås you will find a beautiful area with fantastic nature to explore. The scenic Gästrikeleden has a hub here and there are also plenty of other beautiful trails where you can hike, bike or run. On the river Jädraån you can canoe or kayak or why not try a trip with a SUP.
We wish you most welcome to STF Jädraås Herrgård!

By train & bus
Take the train to Sandviken and then bus from there. It is also possible to take a bus to Ockelbo and from there the local Kuxa bus out to Jädraås.
By car
If you are coming from the south via E16, alternatively route 272, we recommend that you go via Sandviken (route 302). The easiest way is to follow the signs towards Kungsberget ski resort and when you get to Kungsfors you go straight ahead (ie do not turn left towards Kungsberget) for about 12 km to get to Jädraås. If you are coming from the north, we recommend that you go via Ockelbo. If you drive the E4 from the north, turn off towards Ockelbo via Hagsta (road 303) when you have passed through Ockelbo towards Sandviken (road 272), then turn right towards Jädraås (approx. 3.5 km after Ockelbo).
