STF Enaforsholm Fjällgård

Enaforsholm Fjällgård Mountain Hotel is beautifully located at the foot of the Storsnasen Mountain surrounded by the Enan River, 30 minutes from Åre and 15 minutes from Storlien.

Here you will stay comfortably in one of our double or twin rooms at the hotel, or in our hostel or cottages. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast buffet and dinner.

In the winter you will wake up in a true winter wonderland. You can choose to go cross-country skiing on freshly drawn tracks outside the hotel or downhill skiing in close by Åre or Storlien. Or, go hiking with a pair of snowshoes by the river, follow the rabbit´s tracks, discover where the deer slept during the night, and see where the moose grazes. Or try your luck fishing for arctic char in the lake Rensjön, our chefs can cook it for you for dinner.

In the Bergsten room you can warm yourself by our cosy fireplace while you enjoy our buffet of Swedish fika (Swedish afternoon tea) after a day of adventures outside.

In the summer there are many hiking trails to explore right from the property. You can take the beautiful trail up towards Silverfallet, where you can see old mowing fields right at the foot of Snasahögarna. Or take the trail to the mountain Högåsen to look for Snipes and other birds in one of Sweden´s best places for bird watching.

The Enan River is the perfect place to fish for brown trout or borrow one of our canoes to spy for beavers, moose and reindeer from the river. You are also very close to the start of the Jämtland triangle where you can hike between Storulvån, Sylarna, and Blåhammaren.

In just one day at Enaforsholm you can see the sheep grazing by the river, the pigs rooting in the field, and the rabbits hop by outside the beautiful mountain hotel.

Enjoy the silence and a fika at one of the sitting spots by the water while you look for trout in the Enan River. You can even pick up one of our picnic baskets from the restaurant with all the ingredients you need to prepare a meal of sausages, burgers or kale balls at one of the grills by the water.
