Kuvaus

Hängasjön is located on the border between Ljungby and Älmhult municipalities in Kronoberg county. Hängasjön has an area of 415 ha, a maximum depth of 20 meters and an average depth of 3.5 meters.

Hängasjön is a species-rich lake with several species such as perch, bream, birch, bream, grayling, gers, pike, zander, tench, roach, roach and eel. The introduction of zander in recent decades has given a successful result and has made zander fishing in Hängasjön popular among sport and recreational fishermen. The zander has declined a lot in recent years, largely due to heavy fishing pressure.
