At the Linnaeus Arboretum you can experience a large part of the world through this great selection of trees as plants. When Hurricane Gudrun turned the Teleborg forest upside down , a partially new landscape was created. Just south-east of Furutå School, bicycle paths, walking trails and jogging trails wind their way through the area. Today, pines and birches are accompanied by about 150 foreign species of trees and other plants have been planted and placed systematically. Many of them are still sapling and bushes that are growing into their adult form. The European section includes Caucasian wingnuts, Turkish oaks and golden azalea. Close-by, there is a fine picnic place, in the central parts of the forest, you'll find holistic circles of Japanese mountain cherry trees, American red oaks, scarlet oak and Weymouth pine. The birds of the Teleborg forest include the Eurasian nuthatch, the common wood pigeon and the robin, as well as the European siskin and the chiffchaff.
This unique arboretum is included from the spring of 2024 as an excursion stop in Hop off Växjö around. There are many species to discover on a walk here.
