Kuvaus
In the deepest of forests is this little gem hidden. Storefälle was during the second part of 1800’s home to Olaus Karlsson, his wife Lovisa Eriksdotter, and their daughter Anna-Mathilda. The cairn on the little hill is the remains from their torp (a little house). The house was teared down in the early 1900’s after Olaus and Lovisa had moved away.
The magnificent stonewalls you can see in the landscape are all built by Olaus. The wall is 600 metres long in total and differs from 1 to 6 metres in width. In the summer is the meadows buzzing with butterflies, and in the autumn can you find berries and mushrooms in the surrounding forests.
