Kuvaus

The Djurgård nature reserve encompasses two large forested hillocks located in an open agricultural landscape on the island of Färingsö in Ekerö municipality.

The hillocks are covered with dense, almost impenetrable shrubbery. Many animals make their homes here, including a wide variety of birds. Thrush nightingales can be heard singing on early summer nights.

In the northernmost part of the reserve, there are several historically interesting ancient sites to explore.
