Skärsboda fvof

Skärsboda fisheries conservation area allows fishing in Skärvingen - a small, barren clearwater lake with a maximum depth of just over 20 meters, located northeast of Lake Nömmen.

The beaches are dominated by rocks and stones, there are basically no reeds or water lilies. A millipede population of perch dominates in the lake. For those who give Skärvingen the chance and spend some time in the lake, there is clearly an opportunity to catch larger specimens, as perch over 1.5 kilos have occurred among the catches in the lake. Fish of this size, however, are few and difficult to catch.

The pike stock is not very numerous, but the fish keep a nice average size of around 2 kilos. Other species in the lake are roach, vendace, but it also occurs sparingly with lake and tench. When fishing in the lake, it is not uncommon to see birds such as great crested grebe, great crested grebe and if you are lucky also some osprey. Skärvingen has two islands and relatively many of the lake's shores are built with summer cottages.

Spin fishing and angling are dominant methods among the anglers who seek out the lake.
