According to legend, Lady Agunda, a Christian woman who built the first church in the area, lived here and defended herself against pagan knights with the help of a miracle. In Agunnaryd, you can also visit Agundaborg Camp & Paddle, where you can stay overnight and rent canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards to explore the beautiful lakes. Don't miss the local store with a café, where you can enjoy a fika and buy local products. Agunnaryd's beach at Lake Agunnarydssjön is perfect for a refreshing swim before you set off.

When you leave Agunnaryd, cycle towards Pjätterryd. Here, you can choose to cycle between the lakes Möckeln and Kalvasjön, offering you a fantastic view of the water and the chance to see ospreys and white-tailed eagles. Continue to Älmhult, where you can visit the IKEA Museum and learn about Ingvar Kamprad, who founded IKEA and grew up in Agunnaryd. Agunnaryd is actually the "A" in IKEA.

From Älmhult, cycle to Råshult, the birthplace and cultural reserve of Carl von Linné. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful nature and learn more about Linné's work and life. The KRAV-certified garden café offers both lunch and homemade pastries.

After Råshult, continue to Diö, where you can explore the beautiful nature along Såganässjön and Kattesjön. Cycle further to Liatorp and then to Eneryda, where you can enjoy the Småland countryside.

Next stop is Målensås with Granhultsbergets nature reserve, an area with rich flora and fauna perfect for a relaxing break. Here, you can also find remnants of stone quarrying, including a stone sofa said to have been created to appease trolls.

Continue to Lammakulla, where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and perhaps take a hiking tour. From Lammakulla, cycle to Ryd, where you can visit the legendary place Halta-Kajsa in Ryd and learn about the local legends.
