Natuurgebied
The Bokhultet nature reserve offers beautiful walks and jogging. Its beech forest is the largest one in the county. Alder marsh, hayfields, lake shore, wetlands and pine swamp are all parts of this natural mosaic. Together with dead trees and rotting wood, this diversity of nature values is of international significance. You can find woodpecker, hawfinch and fly snapper as well as the violet-edged copper butterfly and the coral tooth fungus. Protection year: 1993, extended in 2016
Area: The reserve is 760 hectares in size, of which 463 hectares is land.
