Omschrijving
Rautusakkara is a difficult-to-access mountain area with virgin pine and spruce forests. It comprises the low fell Sattavaara and lakes Sattajärvi and Rautujärvi. In the eastern part there is a large wetland area with high natural values. The area is 11 square kilometres in size.
This Nature Reserve is part of Esrange protection area. Safety information is available at Swedish Space Corporation website.
