Kajkanten is located at the far end of the archipelago, on the western side of Vrångö and in the middle of the picturesque archipelago settlement by the harbor. With the sea as your nearest neighbor and a unique location in the middle of the old fishing port, you are drawn straight into the calm pace of the archipelago. From long summer days, bright nights, sand between your toes and soothing baths among the cliffs and the crashing waves of autumn with refreshing and healing cold baths, to the calm of spring and the first warming sun.

We are only twenty-five minutes from Saltholmen by Styrsöbolaget's fast ferry. From central Gothenburg, you can reach to us by bus or tram in about an hour, and once there you will step straight into another world, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come to find freedom for both body and soul: the pace is a bit slower, the calm a bit calmer and the quiet is a bit quieter. Relax and let your mind wander, read a book or get some quiet to write that report. Enjoy time by yourself or with others. Kayak between rocks and skerries, explore the island's exciting history along winding nature trails, climb the mountain to the pilot lookout and be mesmerized by the view, and see Vinga in the northwest. Use our wood-burning sauna and hot tub, or enjoy some seafood on the pier.

Vrångö is also a convenient place to take colleagues, relatives or friends and rent the entire Kajkanten for gatherings or conferences. We can arrange everything, from locales to catering and activities.

Every day, all year round, in collaboration with Hamnkrogen Lotsen, we offer the opportunity to order both a lovely breakfast basket and an ample seafood box with the best seafood the West Coast has to offer! Our modern boathouses also have a small and well-equipped kitchen, so you can prepare your own food if you prefer. Vrångö has a small but well-stocked grocery store, and at some parts of the year there is also a restaurant and fishmonger on the island. The neighboring islands of Donsö and Styrsö have several cafes and restaurants and are easily reached by the Styrsöbolaget boats. Traveling on the archipelago boats is an experience in itself, any time of the year.
